Leila Caplan, Staff Writer

Leila Caplan ‘20, is a sophomore at Hollis Brookline High School. She is also a first-year staff writer for CavChron. Leila is a member of the HB crew team, the HB varsity cheer team, and a starting a club for people interested in healthcare professions. She would like to one day become a surgeon for the USAF. Because of her interest in healthcare, Leila is starting a charity with Hannah Riseman ‘20 to help fund clinics dedicated to helping the homeless population receive dental healthcare.

One of the Red Cross Club’s purposes is to teach students how to stay safe during different scenarios. “...the Red Cross club is helpful because the club helps people after disasters and in the school club we do a lot of volunteering and blood drives for the community,” said Tiner.

Finding ways to study efficiently is very helpful. “I think studying is super important... You want to learn the material to help secure the information.
