Hannah Escandon, Head Editor

Hannah Escandon ‘21 is one of the Head Editors of the Cavalier Chronicle for this year, and is excited to be improving her journalism skills to help her towards her goal of being a journalist. She enjoys reading and writing a variety of news sources but is especially interested in the world new and narrative journalism. Hannah is also an athlete for the school's field hockey and tennis team. When she's not practicing, she likes to go on hikes with her friends. Hannah has lived in Saudi Arabia, and has traveled to over 30+ countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. She is now happy to be living back in New Hampshire and is looking forward to going to college and traveling more in the future.

Josh Hill, Hollis Brookline senior, plans on participating in Model United Nations in college. “I did overall enjoy the experience because there was a lot of debating and good discussion,” said Hill. Tables and chairs that were set up for the PSATs, where sophomores and juniors spent their morning testing. “ If you work for 10-20 minutes practicing every day, then you will see a big boost in confidence and a jump in your scores. The most helpful advice would be to start preparing early. If you put in the time, you can definitely improve and meet your goals. Khan Academy is a great free resource, because it will customize your practice based on how you did on certain areas of the test.” said Martin.
